2022 Recruiter Insider’s Annual Service Excellence Finalists!

We are well known for our celebrating the wins here at Lotus People..

..and for recognizing their team and their achievements. With that in mind, we are beyond thrilled to share that Lotus People has been nominated as one of the top 5 finalists for Recruiter Insider’s Annual Service Excellence Award for Agency and for Candidate Experience!

After our Co-Founder
Sinead Connolly took home the SEEK SARA Recruitment Leader of the Year award a few months ago, and with Lotus People winning the APAC Quarterly Excellence in Experience Award for the second quarter of 2022, it is such an honour to see the continuous support and incredible feedback we receive from clients and candidates and the industry!

As a business built on creating genuine, long-term relationships and delivering the best service, our passion for human connection and desire to evolve with the world around us further shows that our human-first approach to recruitment is well-received across all sectors and businesses we work with. All the hard work and dedication is always worth it, thanks to our amazing clients, candidates, and of course, the Lotus People team.

Throughout a turbulent COVID year, a chaotic and busy market bounce-back, the team more than tripling in size with lots of wonderful new starters, it could have been very easy to lose focus on what is truly important – the experience of the people we deal with. To maintain these exceptionally high service levels throughout a time of change speaks to the values and consistency that our team show the people they work with.

With that in mind, the following consultants have knocked it out of the park with their own finalist nods
(meaning that they need an almost perfect 99% score to even be considered a finalist)

⭐ Michelle Barrett: Best Consultant Client Experience Finalist

Eva Child: Best Consultant Annual Service Excellence Finalist

⭐ Shaney Starnes: Best Annual Service Excellence for Candidate Experience Finalist

A great job to everyone in the team and to every single agency and consultant listed as a finalists – setting the standards higher and higher in the industry every day!

We’re always excited to share these updates with you so stay tuned for more updates! Winners will be announced on August 4th and we can’t wait!

As of 2024, a powerful generational shift is redefining the Australian workforce. For the first time, the workplace is no longer dominated by Baby Boomers or Gen X, but by Millennials and Gen Z. According to the Great Place to Work Insights Report 2024 , these two generations now account for 67% of the workforce in Australia — a demographic transformation that is reshaping major culture across workplaces. With this shift means evolving expectations: how people want to work, what they value in employers, and what they need from leaders. As Baby Boomers retire and Gen X move into more senior leadership roles, Millennials and Gen Z are stepping up — and demanding workplaces that are human-first, values-led and future-focused.

In a market where competition for qualified professionals is fierce, many of our non-profit clients are asking us: “How can we attract and retain great people when we can’t compete on salary and perks?” It’s a valid concern. Industries such as technology, financial services and consulting often have the financial bandwidth to offer high salaries, generous bonus structures and a long list of lifestyle benefits. For mission-driven organisations working with tighter resources, it can feel like a difficult race to run. But a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) isn’t built on budget alone. An EVP is fundamentally about meaning. The reasons people feel proud to work at your organisation. The most effective EVPs we see are not necessarily flashy, but they are clear, consistent and deeply connected to the values and culture of the organisation. When well-crafted and confidently communicated, non-profits can not only compete, but excel, when it comes to attracting and retaining capable, aligned professionals who are motivated by more than just salary.
