Originally from Scotland, Iona built her recruitment career in Wellington, New Zealand, before joining Lotus People with six years of high-volume recruitment experience and an Honours degree in Human Resources Management.

As one of Lotus People’s Directors, Iona leads our Permanent Recruitment Division, overseeing strategy, performance, and client partnerships across permanent placements. She is currently also managing all permanent recruitment requirements for our professional services and corporate services clients while covering the maternity leave of Eva Child, supported by Candidate Manager, Kaitlyn.

Iona is dedicated to building strong client relationships and expanding Lotus People’s reach, leading a high-performing team and driving business growth through tailored recruitment solutions. Known for her passion for human connection and her commitment to high standards, Iona’s approach strengthens Lotus People’s reputation for excellence.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Iona exploring Sydney’s restaurants and galleries, catching up with friends, or sketching to unwind.
